The community pool will open this weekend (Saturday, May 5). The pool received a series of repairs this spring, and more cosmetic repairs — namely, the painting of the surrounding fence — are slated for later this year. Pool hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day.

The second phase of the paving project will begin Thursday, Oct. 20. C&S Asphalt of Scottsboro will be applying sealant throughout the complex for the next two days. A few important notes for residents and their guests:

C&C Asphalt of Scottsboro will be demolishing the stamped concrete at the entrance and roundabout of Stone’s Throw as early as Monday, Oct. 3.
Once the stamped concrete has been removed, the company will begin replacing it with asphalt and applying a seal coat to the rest of the pavement around the complex. Residents are asked to use care entering and exiting the complex during the project.
C&C Asphalt believes the project will take about a week to complete. Read more about the paving project here.
All owners of Stone’s Throw condominiums are encouraged to attend an open town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in the clubhouse. Meeting minutes will be posted to this website later in the evening for those who were unable to attend.
