About us

Stone’s Throw is a quiet neighborhood in west Huntsville, Alabama. We’re conveniently located near popular shopping and attractions, and are just a “stone’s throw” from Redstone Arsenal, home of Marshall Space Flight Center and a litany of Army commands.

The 10 buildings that comprise Stone’s Throw, located on Old Monrovia Road off University Drive, were built by Wild Boys’ Land & Cattle Company in 1986. While many owners choose to offer their properties for rent, our complex is primarily homeowners.

Each homeowner pays association dues that cover exterior maintenance and insurance, pest control, landscaping, cable and pool upkeep. Amenities include the pool, which opens each year on Memorial Day, and a clubhouse available for residents to rent.
